Developer Mode is missing
iOS hides Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode until a developer-signed app is installed, or until a computer asks for it.
Using Mirrage Setup? It makes the switch appear for you as soon as you reach the Developer Mode step. If your iPhone has no passcode, Setup turns it on by itself. With a passcode, iOS requires you to flip the switch yourself - Setup shows you where.
Setting up by hand? Install Mirrage first (step 1), then look again - it’s at the very bottom of Privacy & Security.
Still not there?
- Close and reopen Settings.
- Make sure Mirrage is actually installed and you’ve tapped Trust under Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
- Restart your iPhone.
Turning it on restarts your iPhone. Afterwards, unlock it and tap Turn On to confirm. If Mirrage Setup is open, it waits for the restart and carries on by itself.
